Terms & Conditions of Sale

Prices

All orders are accepted at the prices ruling at the time of despatch. All prices stated in GB pounds.


Payment

All initial orders for new customers will be accepted on pro-forma payment terms only. Subsequent orders will be accepted on account terms at 30 days month end, subject to satisfactory credit references.


Carriage Charges

Carriage charge of £9.95 is payable by the customer on all orders under the value of £175.00(net).


Shortages, Damages & Non-Delivery

Shortages, damages, and non-delivery must be reported by the customer in writing within 3 working days. All damaged goods and packaging must be retained by the customer for inspection.


Title of Goods

Title of any goods supplied will remain with Oakpoint Management Ltd until such time that the customer pays to the company all outstanding amounts owing for those goods and any other charges owing to or claimed by the company. The company shall be entitled without notice to enter upon any premises owned by the customer and repossess any goods that remain unpaid for.


Delivery

The company will not be liable for any claims arising as a result of delayed deliveries due to strikes, materials, shortages, or any other circumstances beyond the company’s control.


Goods Orders in Error

Many of these goods are made to order and as such there is no returns policy. Any samples supplied and subsequently returned will need a prior arrangement for a returns number.


Cancellations

All requested cancellations must be received by the company in writing. The customer shall indemnify the company for all costs incurred due to suspension or cancellation of order.


Guarantee

Any product found to be defective in material or workmanship within 12 months of purchase will be replaced free of charge by the company. Claims for faulty goods must be made in writing to the company and all faulty goods be made available for return to the company premises for inspection. Should the company decide to accept liability for defective product, the company will agree to pay reasonable carriage costs. The company will not accept responsibility for any product claim where upon after inspection of returned goods, the company decides that wrongful installation of product is apparent.


This guarantee does not extend to our Living or Lacquered finishes due the varying degree in which time, touch, climate, and exposure to the elements will affect this ongoing aging process.


Risk

All goods supplied by the company shall be at the customers risk immediately upon delivery to the customer or into custody on the customers behalf, irrespective of whether title to the goods has passed or not.
